Job Description
Position Purpose&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
The Plant Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Plant Manager in managing total plant operations and delivering superior customer satisfaction by driving results and exceeding expectations in the key areas of safety, service, quality and cost.
Major/Key Accountabilities
<ul>
<li>Supervise the work of all production employees – oversees production and shipping schedules based on availability of raw and finished goods.</li>
<li>Provide hands-on leadership as a supervisor, responsible for mentoring and coaching all employees and working through employee relations issues.</li>
<li>Support plant administration to ensure compliance to established policies.</li>
<li>Responsible, in consultation with Plant Manager, for the cost and yield performance of the Plant in partnership with the overall P&amp;L of the Plant.</li>
<li>&nbsp;Support cost control initiatives and process control within the Plant.</li>
<li>Review operations activities, including local transportation activities, to maintain compliance</li>
<li>with all Federal, State and local laws (OSHA, DOL, DOJ, EPA, FD)</li>
<li>Drive Safety improvements (Zero Harm) across the Plant</li>
<li>Ensure the consistent execution of all SOPs throughout the Plant in accordance with the PMS</li>
<li>Commercial Organization, Global Supply Chain</li>
<li>Deliver best operational practices and cost efficiencies across the Plant while maintaining</li>
<li>critical quality and raw material utilization standards that are necessary to maintain customer</li>
<li>&nbsp; satisfaction and Plant profitability.</li>
<li>&nbsp; Ensure compliance through teamwork for all Standard Operating Procedures within the Plant</li>
<li>Identify Lean opportunities to effectively eliminate waste</li>
<li>&nbsp; In partnership with Plant Manager, provide leadership to Plant staff to effectively recruit, train,</li>
<li>develop, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities</li>
<li>Drive efficiencies in asset utilization through proper transportation scheduling, dispatch, &amp; driver management while meeting customer expectations.</li>

About the Role:
 
Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure that plant equipment, machinery, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Implement and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability and performance.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and operational lifespan of plant equipment.
 
Key Responsibilities may include:

<li>Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program to ensure timely and effective maintenance, reducing equipment downtime and improving overall plant efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, actively enforcing corporate Zero Harm policies and conducting regular safety checks on equipment and building services.</li>
<li>Implement process reliability systems and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving equipment reliability and efficiency targets.</li>
<li>Manage the procurement, inventory, and budget control of spare parts and consumables, ensuring effective stock management to support maintenance activities.</li>
<li>Lead and support capital expenditure projects related to equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Monitor and optimize the use of utilities such as electricity, gas, and water, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.</li>
<li>Ensure plant compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards through regular safety audits, equipment testing, and asset management processes.</li>
<li>Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring adequate staffing, training, and performance management to meet the operational needs of the plant.</li>

Job Description
SHIFT:
Sunday - Friday (12:00AM-7:00AM)
PAY RATE:
Starting pay rate: $20.00/hour Plus $2.00/hour shift differential. Total pay rate will be $22.00/hour.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets. In a repair department places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place. In an assembly department takes stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired. Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw. Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs. Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Repair Operators must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Repair Operators must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential. Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
PREFERRED SKILLS
2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast moving setting with industrial machinery.
