Location: Brockton, MA
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (rotating Saturdays as needed)
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (rotating Saturdays as needed; 20% shift differential upon permanent conversion)
Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will perform physical and chemical testing, visual inspections, and monitor overall quality throughout plant operations and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process analytical testing on products manufactured using continuous cooking equipment (e.g., % soluble solids, viscosity, color).
- Perform organoleptic and visual inspections on products in wet-side production areas.
- Audit cook stations and packaging lines for HACCP compliance, weights, seals, temperatures, codes, and GMP adherence.
- Ensure food safety and quality of all products produced or packaged daily.
- Report and initiate corrective actions for any food safety or quality issues.
- Conduct environmental swabbing of equipment as needed.
- Maintain clear communication across production and management teams.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in detail.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of quality experience in a GMP setting preferred (food manufacturing experience is a plus but not required).
- Associate degree in Food Manufacturing or a scientific field, or High School Diploma with relevant quality testing experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, math skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
