Decoding The Role:

This individual will support the design and execution of novel engineered gene editing technologies by leveraging their expertise in molecular biology techniques, such as plasmid design and various molecular cloning techniques. · Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field

<li>Molecular and cell biology expertise including plasmid design and library preparation, molecular cloning techniques such as Gibson assembly and golden gate cloning, primer design, PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA and RNA purification, in vitro transcription, LNP formulation, qPCR/RT-qPCR, ddPCR/RT-ddPCR, and flow cytometry.</li>
<li>Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, transfections, and cell-based assays </li>
<li>Experience working with CRISPR and non-viral (LNP) and/or viral (AAV, lentivirus) delivery vectors </li>
<li>Familiarity with DNA analysis software such as VectorNTI, Geneious, Benchling </li>

1910 Genetics is looking for an In Vitro Pharmacology Assay Scientist to work closely with our biologists in the discovery of antibodies. An expert in biochemical characterization of biological drug molecules, the ideal candidate will have experience in antibody drug discovery and characterization of a variety of molecular types. 
Role Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Validate target material in functional biochemical assays prior to the start of antibody discovery. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Design, validate and execute in vitro biochemical assays for the screening of molecules from 1910 Genetics' AI-driven large molecule therapeutics platform </li>
</ul>

<li>Develop, validate and execute assays for the biophysical characterization of antibodies in various formats and for various modalities </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with 1910 scientists to refine assays to help drive delivery of program objectives </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results in electronic lab notebook </li>
</ul>

<li>Present experimental results/progress in a timely manner and contribute to scientific discussion in group meetings </li>
