Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate various milling and/or turret lathe machines to produce parts according to print specifications. This role involves ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Set up and operate Bridgeport millers and/or Turret Lathes according to blueprints.</li>
<li>Perform tool offsets, select feeds/speeds, and make necessary adjustments for piece parts to conform to print tolerance.</li>
<li>Select proper material as indicated on shop orders.</li>
<li>Check all parts to print dimensions using dial calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, comparators, and similar inspection tools.</li>
<li>Conduct first piece part inspection and in-process inspections to ensure all parts meet print tolerance.</li>
<li>Maintain SPC Data for each piece part.</li>
<li>Move parts to the next area of operation as necessary according to part routing.</li>
<li>Assist less experienced operators with set-ups as needed and as instructed.</li>
<li>Ensure good quality and a clean and safe work area at all times.</li>
<li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills

<li>Experience in machine operation and machine setup.</li>
<li>General production skills.</li>

Perform all operations associated with prepping apparel for embroidery, including printing shop travelers from the AGS system. Complete all packing operations for customized apparel, accessories, and gloves using AGS and KPack systems.

Advanced position responsible for operating and executing advanced CNC machine set-up and programming.
 
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

<li>Advanced machine operation including set up</li>
<li>Loads raw materials and unloads completed parts</li>
<li>Required to operate multiple machines simultaneously</li>
<li>Selects set-up of appropriate tooling &amp; fixtures</li>
<li>Adjusts tooling &amp; work offsets</li>
<li>Troubleshoot current programs and performs significant editing of current programs</li>
<li>Basic&nbsp;program development</li>
<li>Perform inspections on own work &amp; co-worker’s work</li>
<li>Able to make adjustments to assure dimensions tolerances, quality and highest accuracy of parts</li>
<li>Able to run and setup all machines in department</li>
<li>Motivated and works on continuous improvement including processes, productivity, quality, and safety.</li>
<li>Good technique and use of measurement tools i.e. snap gage, micrometers, digital caliper, optical comparator, and etc.</li>
