Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team, in a full-time position. The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking for a long-term career track.

Duties:
<ul>
<li>Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.</li>
<li>Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.</li>
<li>Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li>
<li>Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.</li>
<li>Utilize dental clinic systems, including Epic, for patient management and documentation.</li>
<li>Support the front desk as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of dental terminology, and infection control practices is essential.</li>
<li>Familiarity with dental clinic systems is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are necessary for maintaining patient records and managing appointments.</li>
<li>Certification in dental assisting.</li>
