<li>Ensure that the front desk is always covered.</li>
<li>Accept deliveries in accordance with approved policy, mail, and dry cleaning, and maintain logs associated with each task.</li>
<li>Receive calls from residents for maintenance or service and forward them to the appropriate person during routine business hours. For after-hour service requests, assess if the issue can wait until the next business day and login work order on Building Link. If appropriate notify maintenance on call to assist. </li>
<li>Maintain strict adherence to key control policy, requiring that all visitors needing a key to be authorized to enter the unit. Log in all key requests.</li>
<li>Ensure that all contractors entering the front lobby are properly badged observing the policy that tools are not allowed through the front door. </li>
<li>Enforce the building rules and regulations as provided by the Board of Managers. Ensure that all contractors have security badges before entering the building.</li>
<li>Carefully monitor all security and life safety systems and report problems to building security as well as the General Manager. </li>
<li>Welcome new residents and assist with coordinating the delivery of newspapers, cable TV, peapod delivery laundry services, etc.</li>
<li>Provide information about local activities and events throughout the city. </li>
<li>Introduce new services and opportunities that may be of interest to owners and residents. </li>
<li>Document all resident requests, complaints, or problems immediately and notify designated department/personnel for resolving the issue.</li>
<li>Complete incident reports as needed.</li>
<li>Perform duties as requested by Head Concierge and or Property Manager.</li>
<li>Maintain a current listing of vendors including babysitting, housekeeping, pet care, florist, dry cleaning, restaurants, ticket agencies, theater, and the like.</li>

<li>Promptly answers the telephone and email inquiries from internal and external communication streams. Inputs messages into the computer and advises other associates of special guest needs. Retrieves messages and communicates the content to the guest. Retrieves mail, packages and facsimiles or other special items for customers as requested</li>
<li>Monitor guest accounts and room inventory. Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statement. Properly accounts for services provided by the hotel. Assists guest with check out payments or charges. Accepts and records vouchers, credit, traveler's checks, and other forms of payment</li>
<li>Be proficient using Property Management Systems (OPERA) and other pertinent software as assigned (MGS &amp; GXP)</li>
<li>Complete all assigned checklists and shift reports accurately </li>
<li>Complete all operations of lost and found, including inputting items into database, guest outreach, and shipping of guest items</li>
<li>Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Follow the dress code and uniform standards. Demonstrate positive body language and posture</li>
<li>Maintain house bank and operate cash register without error</li>
<li>Be educated and familiar with local and area recreational, dining, and cultural activities and attractions. Provide recommendations to guests</li>
<li>Be aligned with the culture, values, goals and human resource programs of the Yarrow Group</li>
<li>Follow all best practices, policies and procedures for Front Desk team</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, neat and organized workstation and lobby area</li>
<li>Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned, assist in other departments when needed</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Minimum of one-year front desk or customer service experience, preferable with OPERA and Yarrow Group systems</li>
<li>Strong background of customer service experience</li>
<li>Possess excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Proven track record resolving guest problems and expediting solutions</li>
<li>Understand daily hotel operations and systems</li>
<li>Must read, write and speak the English language effectively</li>
<li>Possess complex math skills</li>
<li>Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, with little to no supervision, use time efficiently and multi-task</li>

Job Description
The Door/Bell Person provides positive service standards including but not limited to courtesy, sincerity and&nbsp; enthusiasm to all guests and patrons of the Hotel. They will provide a warm welcome to a fond farewell and&nbsp; take care of the guests as soon as they step foot onto your driveway, ensuring a lasting impression for their&nbsp; stay.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Follow all service standards at every interaction with a guest&nbsp;</li>
<li>Retrieve guest items from cars, busses, vans and carts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Provide directions, contact local transportation, keep entrance free of debris and snow and&nbsp; operating smoothly&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate any potential challenge and possible guest related inquiries to supervisor or&nbsp; appropriate department and ensure follow through&nbsp;</li>
<li>Review all arrival reports, VIPs, events and groups to ensure daily operations run smoothly&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate effectively via radio with the Front desk, Concierge, Bellmen and Guest Relations for&nbsp; all arrivals and departures to ensure anticipatory service&nbsp;</li>
<li>Be aware of guests’ comings and goings from all entrances&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensure guest spaces near the Front Office are neat and tidy</li>
