<li>Acknowledges and greets everyone who enters and leaves the club's facilities. </li>
<li>Provides detailed descriptions of Boys Girls Club, member applications, services, facility features, and hours of operations. </li>
<li>Answers the phone promptly and redirects phone requests to the appropriate party.</li>
<li>Assists staff in collecting parent signatures for permission slips.</li>
<li>Handles guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously; communicates parents' finance questions/requests to the Finance Department. </li>
<li>Maintains a clean; safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area. </li>
<li>Must be able to work without direct supervision and remain at the assigned post for extended periods of time. </li>
<li>Understands all safety procedures completely and ensures that they are followed appropriately.</li>
<li>Maintains a positive attitude and contributes toward a quality work environment. </li>
<li>Assists in all areas of the club operation as requested.</li>
<li>Communicates to the Site/Branch Director any and all occurrences involving staff or visitors/parents in the club that require attention.</li>
<li>Participates in administrative staff meetings and trainings when requested.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>High School degree or equivalent experience preferred.</li>
<li>Must be detailed-oriented and have the ability to multitask. </li>
<li>Must have a pleasant telephone manner.</li>
<li>Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Must enjoy working with people, have enthusiasm, and possess excellent customer service skills.</li>
<li>Must possess basic math and money handling skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills.</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel between locations when requested. (Only occasional travel may be required.)</li>
<li>Must be a team player.</li>

 WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
<ul>
<li>Requires working under normal office working conditions with the exception of children’s voices/noises during program times.</li>
<li>Occasionally may be exposed to fluctuations in temperature. </li>
</ul>
 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
<ul>
<li>Requires sedentary work including prolonged sitting and operation of general office equipment.</li>
<li>May be required to lift or push up to 50lbs.</li>
</ul>
