Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage overnight staff, including but not limited to front desk agents, security, night auditor, etc. 
· Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing MIRCOS reports and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters’ fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier. Post banquet and catering event checks. 
· Run audit reports and journals from all credit card and computer systems.
· Input revenue, expenses, and allowance to generate required daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
· Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day’s operations.
· Manage all front desk activities, including handling guest check-ins and check-outs, answering guest calls and queries related to potential bookings etc. 
· Make corrections and adjustments and handle any computer issues that may arise.
· Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly.
· Ensure all necessary copies of documentation and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper department.
· Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
· Coordinate with the front desk and restaurant\bar closing to facilitate a smooth operation of file maintenance and reset of systems for next day operations.
· Ability to communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and other associates. Ensuring guest satisfaction by handling requests such as wake-up calls, delivering items etc. 
· Ability to adhere to all applicable Federal, state, local, safety, and health standards.
· Assist with other departments such as Engineering or Food &amp; Beverage, should guests require or request service. 
· Ability to accurately reports information.
· Attend required Hotel meetings.

Job Description
The award winning Comfort Inn &amp; Suites Sturbridge is hiring for energetic individuals who are a team player for our front desk agent position at the hotel. Previous Choice Hotels experience preferred but not needed - can train - must be proficient with computers and a fast paced environment. Must be able to Multi-task. This is for a part time position that could turn into full time. Must be able to work both first and second shifts, as well as weekends. 
<ul>
<li>Register and assign rooms to guests of the hotel. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.</li>
<li>Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts. May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.</li>
<li>Compute bill, collect payment and make change for guests. May post charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone by hand or machine.</li>
<li>Answer, receive and transfer incoming calls/outgoing calls, messages, faxes utilizing appropriate means ie telephone, fax, switchboard, computer.</li>
<li>Ensures rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statement. Properly accounts for services provided by the hotel. Assists guests with check out payments or charges.</li>
<li>Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation as stated in the SOP. Account for all cash and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies.</li>
<li>Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guest and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions. Record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to managers as necessary.</li>
<li>Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.</li>
<li>Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer.</li>
<li>Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.</li>
<li>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned or needed.</li>
<li>Help with other departments as needed</li>
<li>Weekends and holidays are required. </li>
<li>individual will be working both AM and PM shifts. </li>
