The Department of Emergency Medicine at The Larner College of Medicine (LCOM) at The University of Vermont (UVM) is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician desiring a career in academic emergency medicine. Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Clinical Scholar Pathway will be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
 
Our Network Department of Emergency Medicine provides clinical coverage for the University of Vermont Health across hospital sites in Vermont and northern New York. Collectively, we provide service for approximately 200,000 patient visits annually, and our hospitals serve a catchment of 40,000 square miles and 1.4M people. LCOM students and emergency medicine residents train clinically at three of our sites with elective rotations at the other sites. Our primary teaching campus is the University of Vermont Medical Center, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the greater region. The majority of our academic faculty provide clinical coverage at multiple sites, including our rural and critical access sites in both states, underscoring our commitment to high quality rural acute care delivery.
 
In addition to the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC), our clinical partners include Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH); Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC); Porter Medical Center (PMC); Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH); Elizabethtown Community Hospital-Ticonderoga (ECH-Ti); or Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC).  POSITION SUMMARY: Clay Brook, our premier luxury slope-side residency is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join our housekeeping team.  Job Summary 
Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. Omni Experience Ambassador will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities 
<ul>
<li>Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list.&nbsp; Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) device to pick orders from the sales floor. Uses handheld scanner device (RF) to verify merchandise.&nbsp; Moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicates expired or short-dated items included on pick list.</li>
<li> Communicates with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.</li>
<li> Works with team to have merchandise pulled from reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment.</li>
<li> Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Works with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met up to and including key performance indicators based on individual performance.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Follows operational efficiencies, processes and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside and Ship from Club.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Takes responsibility for individual performance and works with club leadership on individual performance when metrics are not met. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Securely packages the order in accordance with standard operating procedures.</li>
<li> Ensures the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized. Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area. Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.</li>
<li> Processes returns to the club and makes determination on how to handle (via DDR or Membership desk)</li>
<li>Maintains all club policies and procedures. Including adhering to proper dress code standards.</li>
<li> Required to meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA”s), performance metrics and goals.</li>
<li> Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.</li>

 Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Previous order pulling experience preferred.</li>
<li> Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.</li>
<li> Previous RF scanner experience preferred.</li>

 Job Conditions 
<ul>
<li>Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.</li>
<li> Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.</li>
<li> Usually in a comfortable environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment.&nbsp; There may be exposure to temperature extremes at time to pull refrigerated orders.&nbsp;</li>
<li>There may be occasional exposure to Company-approved cleaning agents.</li>

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $17.50.
