<li>Incorporate all five-program components into each lesson: personal safety, water orientation/stroke development, water sports and games, rescue and personal growth.</li>

Job DescriptionReporting to the Associate Director of Athletics - Sports Medicine for day to day operations, as directed by the Head Team Physician, this position is responsible for assisting with the coordination of all athletic training services for the student-athletes competing at the intercollegiate level for the College of the Holy Cross. Athletic training services include, but are not limited to coordinating the prevention, evaluation, treatment, referral and rehabilitation of injuries/illnesses to student-athletes of college’s 27 varsity sports. &nbsp;Sports covered may include:&nbsp; Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Soccer and Softball. The Assistant / Associate Director of Sports Medicine - Athletic Trainer will be expected to provide excellent care to student-athletes while adhering to all rules and regulations as set forth by the College of Holy Cross, the Patriot League, Atlantic Hockey (Men’s Ice Hockey), Hockey East (Women’s Ice Hockey), Intercollegiate Rowing Association (Men’s Rowing), NCAA Division I and the BOC. We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors for our 2024 Summer Day Camp Program at Fletcher Elementary in Fletcher, VT. As a Camp Counselor, you'll lead campers on a journey of fun, friendship, and adventure.
 
HOURS: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, June 30th - July 25th
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
PAY: $15.00 per hour
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Activity Extraordinaire:

<li>Assist with hands-on activities and exploration!</li>
<li>Get creative with games, challenges, and scavenger hunts that keep kids on their toes.</li>
</ul>
Friendship Architect:
<ul>
<li>Create a supportive and inclusive environment where campers feel like they belong.</li>
<li>Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and lots of high-fives!</li>
</ul>
Master of Fun &amp; Games:
<ul>
<li>Organize epic camp-wide events like talent shows, themed parties, and crazy costume contests.</li>
<li>Show off your arts and crafts skills with DIY projects and creative workshops.</li>
</ul>
Safety Superhero:
<ul>
<li>Keep a watchful eye on campers to ensure their safety during all activities.</li>
<li>Be prepared to handle any bumps, bruises, or bug bites with a smile and a band-aid.</li>
</ul>
Camp Enthusiast:
<ul>
<li>Lead by example with enthusiasm, positivity, and a can-do attitude.</li>
</ul>
Additionally, you will:
<ul>
<li>Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.</li>
<li>Observe guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have. We believe in potential and passion!</li>
<li>Get ready to ace a background check, including fingerprinting, references</li>
<li>You’re warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your jam, whether it's with kiddos, parents, or fellow team members. Plus, you're professional, reliable, and always prompt.</li>
<li>You're ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and basically do whatever it takes to keep up with kids!</li>
