LIVunLtd is looking for a Service Technician and/or Service Apprentice to join our team and be work throughout the state of Massachusetts.
 
At LIVunLtd, Service Technicians are leaders in the fitness industry and part of a skilled team of individuals who are in control of their advancement through our technician career path and other career opportunities throughout the company. As a Service Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd. Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd; we need the best.
We also hire for our technician apprentice program in all of our service areas. We encourage all mechanically inclined individuals with or without experience in the service and repair industry to apply. Paid training is provided.

 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
Primary Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Travel to client locations </li>
<li>Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits</li>
<li>Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customer</li>
<li>Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order</li>
<li>Provide communication to customer both in scheduling times to come out and what is going on with their equipment</li>
<li>Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines</li>
<li>Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories</li>
</ul>
Additional Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times</li>
<li>Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times</li>
<li>Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager</li>
<li>Follow with Company Uniform Policy</li>
</ul>

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Be able to lift/move fitness equipment &amp; parts up to 50 lbs </li>
<li>Maintain a valid drivers license and insurance and clear an MVR Check. </li>
<li>Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology</li>

COMPENSATION 
The Service Technician / Apprentice position with LIVunLtd pays $20-$26/hr based on experience and location of service. All of our Service Technicians are also eligible for a competitive performance based bonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.

 5 Tool Performance is a baseball development facility with 17K sq ft. of turf and gym space. We are conveniently located off of 3 majors intersecting highways in Westwood, MA. We are a start up so every hire shoulders multiple roles and there is a lot of learning on the job. Great diversity of tasks and roles. Expectations are discussed during the interview process to make sure objectives and goals are clear. Desired Experience: Our goal is to train players to understand what it means to compete, how to perform, and to execute in stressful and tough situations. We want mentally tenacious coaches/mentors/instructors who understand the real challenge is to help others navigate through their own setbacks. We value coaches and instructors who have experience playing at the higher levels so there is compassion and understanding of how to work through the tough moments. Development is one little drop in a big brown jug and takes a long time to develop a player so we have to exercise patience and pay attention to details, which can be tedious but very rewarding. We also look for organized minds to teach the technical, the mechanics and how to bring the game together. Culture: The crew of instructors we have on board full time are fierce competitors so it is not about the outcome but about the journey of training, the struggle, the successes and the ability to make adjustments along the way. Communication becomes paramount as we need to work together as team to create a culture that speaks to excellence, integrity, and good sportsmanship. We need to be mentally, emotionally and physically available for our clients so for those who are interested in this role, you do give a lot to our growing client base. We will bring you on Part- time for 3 months first like a trial for both parties and depending on how things develop, there will be a full time opportunity in the range of $50K-$65K plus a bonus and 5 Tool Shares (all performance based and an evaluation system which will be discussed upfront). We are looking for an experience baseball instructor/coach who played at the College Level and is interested in teaching, experimenting and developing players. Analytical Capacity: to understand baseball specifics and to be able to break down the Swing via gut feel and the eye test.
