Security Guards serve as the eyes and ears of the Museum behind the scenes, ensuring the safety of the artwork, building, and staff. This role is primarily back-of-house, with responsibilities centered on monitoring security systems, controlling access to secure spaces, and facilitating deliveries and authorized entry. Guards are not stationed in public galleries and do not serve as frontline visitor-facing staff.
 
Activities can vary between shifts. Sometimes you will conduct rounds throughout the facility, checking doors, alarms, and mechanical areas, while also documenting daily activities and reporting any anomalies. Some shifts may be more focused on accepting deliveries and signing in visitors and contractors. <li>Perform transportation duties per PBNDS Standards and Training.</li>
<li>Ensure all detainee transports are documented and detainee records and possessions are safeguarded at all times. Provide trip documentation to the Transportation Coordinator in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Notify Operations Supervisor, Transportation Coordinator and/or Project Manager of any route variations.</li>
<li>Ensure that any required detainee documentation is obtained from the transferring facility/agency prior to departure.</li>

<li>Report any safety related transportation issues immediately and complete a vehicle repair order and give to the Supervisor in charge of Fleet Management.</li>

<li>Ensure all required equipment is present in your assigned vehicle prior to departing. This shall include, but not limited to, first aid kits, insurance card, flares, security devices, etc. (See equipment list assigned to each vehicle.)</li>
<li>Report for work at your scheduled time (assigned by Operations Supervisor daily). </li>
<li>If assigned to a stationary guard post, such as hospital duty, ensure compliance with Post Orders and hospital protocol.</li>

<li>Complete post vehicle check at the completion of your assignment.</li>
