We are looking for people to partner with us to achieve our goal of disrupting the cycle of homelessness for greater Boston families and are seeking a Residential Assistant to join our team. This position requires staff to be ilingual. 
What You Will Do:

Promote and model a clean, harmonious, and welcoming living environment, supporting the overall safety and well-being of the families in residence at the Hildebrand congregate shelter.

Ensure that each family has a safe, clean and adequately furnished room.

Oversee the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility during the assigned work period to include conducting 30 minute checks throughout each shift, room cleanliness and chore completion as well as maintaining the office area.

Oversee and monitor all of the rules, policies, procedures and protocols that govern community living for both families and their visitors. Ensure the program is in compliance with all policies, procedures, statutory &amp; regulatory requirements of Hildebrand.

Support the Residential Manager and/or Case Manager in developing and implementing supportive, respectful and comprehensive Re-Housing Plan activities to assist families in moving out of shelter as quickly as possible and in attaining and retaining their independence, dignity and self-sufficiency, i.e. job search, resume building, housing applications, etc.

Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and other activities as required to keep up to date on program function and required skills for the job.

Support the program and the agency by following the rules, regulations, and systems of order that have been established to effectively meet both agency and residents’ goals.

Victory Human Services is seeking Relief Residential Counselors to provide support to our individuals, who are placed in Specialized Home Care in all activities of daily living, including health and wellness, working on ISP goals, facilitating social/recreational opportunities and community access, medication administration and compliance with all relevant documentation and DDS requirements.
 
General Responsibilities:
· Provide skilled shift coverage, including weekends and awake overnights, as scheduled by the supervisor, Program Manager or Program Director
· Implement treatment programs, including Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and clinical programs ; collect behavior and academic data; complete log entries
· Teach daily living skills such as safety rules, travel-training, banking and budget management, cooking, shopping, personal care and hygiene, and care of personal space and belongings

Residential supervisors are tasked with managing a residential house that provides 24/7 support to residents with severe and persistent mental illness in a community-based setting. Supervisors provide direct support to clients and staff and manage the day-to-day operations that will help maintain a successful program. This position requires on-call duties. Supervisors are responsible for managing the house budget, supervising of staff, and operating as the point person to ensure effective communication, consultation, and critical decision-making. Residential supervisors are expected to take part in consultation, quality improvement activities, and program development.
 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Direct work with clients, both 1:1 and in a group setting</li>
<li>Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in their recovery goals (including symptom management, ADL support, medication education, extra-curricular activities, etc.)</li>

Education: A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university is required. 
Experience: Supervisory experience in a therapeutic setting is required.
 
Qualifications: Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, an automobile with liability insurance, and a clean background and driving record check.
