Job Description
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Setup and operating manual lathe, Bridgeport, Hurco and Okuma machines</li>
<li>Machine parts using required fixtures in accordance within specifications</li>
<li>Measure and examine completed parts to detect defects</li>
<li>Ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers</li>
<li>Using OEM prints and design sketches, instructions, blueprints</li>
<li>If needed fabricate or modify fixtures and maintain machines</li>
<li>Following company and quality system guidelines</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>At least five years previous manual lathe machine experience</li>
<li>Experience with precision instruments</li>
<li>Able to read and understand blueprints</li>
<li>Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening</li>
</ul>
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 4:30pm
The pay is up to $35.00 an hour based on experience

Job DescriptionEstimator Mechanical/Sheetmetal Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical/Sheetmetal Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs and resources for sheet metal projects, ensuring that proposals are competitive and profitable. This role involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to provide cost-effective solutions for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects. Key Responsibilities

<li>Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for sheet metal fabrication and installation.</li>
<li>Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and other documents to identify project requirements and determine necessary materials and labor.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather relevant information for preparing bids and proposals.</li>
<li>Calculate labor, material, and overhead costs to establish budgetary targets for projects.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit detailed estimates and proposals to clients in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintain and update records of estimates and pricing databases for future reference.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li>

<li>Proficiency in estimating software and tools.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.</li>
