Amphenol is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to play a pivotal role in enabling the adoption of next-generation interconnect solutions. A centerpiece of this role will be the creation and delivery of rack-level system mock-ups and live demonstrations for AI/ML applications, showing how Amphenol’s broad portfolio of copper and optical interconnects comes together to power scalable, high-performance infrastructure. These rack-level demonstrations will serve to accelerate ecosystem adoption, and industry partners, helping to validate new architectures, serve as customer proof points, and promote emerging technologies across the data center and AI landscape.
You will work closely with hyperscale customers, ecosystem leaders, and internal marketing and engineering teams to translate technology innovation into compelling demonstrations that highlight Amphenol’s differentiated value. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to combine technical expertise with market influence, directly shaping how data centers, AI fabrics, and high-performance computing systems are designed, deployed, and adopted worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Marketing Leadership:
<ul>
<li>Design, build, and maintain rack-level demonstration environments that showcase company products and solutions.</li>
<li>Partner with product management, solution architects, and field engineers to develop demonstration scenarios that highlight product value.</li>
<li>Support marketing campaigns, customer roadshows, and trade shows by preparing and deploying technical demo environments.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to ensure demos are production-ready, reliable, and visually impactful.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Collaboration &amp; Advocacy:
<ul>
<li>Work with industry partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure interoperability and standards alignment.</li>
<li>Collect and integrate customer and field feedback to continuously improve demonstration effectiveness.</li>
<li>Work closely with Marketing teams to prepare and release promotional materials for new standards and technology aligned with major industry events (e.g. DesignCon, OFC, OCP Summit, etc.)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Documentation and Communication:
<ul>
<li>Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer-facing events and presentations.</li>
<li>Contribute to technical papers and represent Amphenol at conferences.</li>
<li>Manage logistics of demo environments, including hardware setup, software integration, and remote monitoring.</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience:
<ul>
<li>Experience in an Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Marketing role</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, hardware integration, networking, and storage.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Technical Skills:
<ul>
<li>Conversant in Ethernet, PCIe, and related standards documentation.</li>
<li>Ability to script or automate demo environments (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.) a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with interoperability testing tools and platforms.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Soft Skills:
<ul>
<li>Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technology in simple, compelling ways.</li>
<li>Experience supporting trade shows or technical marketing campaigns is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.</li>
</ul>

<li>Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Comfortability and interest to prepare technical papers and present to large audiences.</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Operations Plans, Assembly Line Rationalization, Capital Expenditure, and Manpower Projections. Aid in the development of strategic plans for NPI and product modifications. Work closely with marketing to determine project forecasts and process scope. Understand relative financial formulations.</li>
<li>Cost Benefit Analysis and Alternative Design implications. Vendor vs In-House manufacturing costs. Compare in-house to quoted costs and explain probable material consumption and process differences.</li>
<li>Perform competitive analysis by reverse engineering competitor's product to produce a probable process and cost. Think abstractly and reasonably to realistically estimate unknowns.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>At least 3 to 5 years related experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred. Background in process engineering is preferred. Other experience levels will be considered.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills required to interface effectively with people in a wide range of job functions globally.</li>
<li>Very strong problem solving and logical reasoning skills. Tenacity, assertiveness, and a strong inclination toward order, consistency, and detail are required. Ability to present information in a simplified and attractive but logical form to managers and supervisors is necessary.</li>
<li>Technical knowledge of Stamping, Plating, Molding, Assembly and related technologies. Knowledge of quality programs such as FMEA, SPC, Fishbone Analysis, and Pareto Charts used to drive quality and cost improvements is a plus.</li>
<li>Mastery of unit conversions and the values behind common units of mass, volume, area, time, density, and distance is essential.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to accept accountability and drive business directed activities with minimal supervision. Ability to work under pressure or when stressed is vital.</li>
<li>Strong experience with Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is required. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all operational activities and personnel for the Accessioning team to include all commercial diagnostic samples.

<li>3-5 years of supervisory experience working in a biotech or healthcare.</li>
<li>Previous medical or production experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Clinical laboratory experience or related work environment preferred.</li>
<li>Prior experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) a plus.</li>
<li>Hiring salary range: $72,000 to $90,000. The actual annual salary will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.</li>

Requirements
The Runner (Shuttle Driver) will be expected to move assets/trucks between different shops and our customer locations. May occasionally assist with picking up or transporting parts between shops and needs to be flexible as other duties may be assigned.
