Role Summary

The Mobile Radiologic Technologist provides on-site diagnostic imaging services, including mobile X-ray and EKG (as applicable), to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process diagnostic X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
  • Ensure images are clinically diagnostic and technically accurate before transmitting to a radiologist for interpretation
  • Transport, unload, and safely operate portable imaging equipment from a company-provided vehicle
  • Perform EKGs as required and transmit results to a cardiologist for interpretation
  • Accurately scan and submit exam-related documentation and billing materials daily according to protocol
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and client facilities
  • Comply with all clinical, operational, and safety standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with the full job description and organizational policies

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push and pull portable imaging equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs
  • Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys reduces load during transport; however, physical exertion is required within facilities
  • Up to 16–24 instances per day of applying 50 lbs or more of force


Qualifications & Requirements

  • ARRT Certification — Required
  • Active state radiologic technologist license — Required
  • Limited licenses are not accepted
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to meet all health, safety, and operational requirements
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions considered with appropriate documentation
