Collect and review data on workplaces injuries/exposures and safety hazards to identify targets for intervention to improve safety and prevent future injury/exposure.</li>
<li>Coordinate with related hospital departments and serve as a clinical resource: Act as the primary clinical resource for OEH matters across the hospital. Collaborate with Human Resources, Environmental Health &amp; Safety, Infection Control, and managers to support compliance with health policies and regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Develop and Maintain Clinical Protocols: Create and conduct a periodic review of clinical protocols, standing orders, and documentation standards to ensure high-quality, legally compliant care.</li>
<li>Monitor and Improve Service Quality: Participate in departmental quality improvement efforts by tracking clinical outcomes, identifying trends in employee health, and implementing improvements. Use data and current research to inform practice and policy.</li>
<li>Lead and Participate in Professional Development Activities: Maintain current knowledge of occupational health regulations and best practices. Participate in continuing education and serve as a mentor or educator to clinical staff as needed. Represent the department on committees and in cross-functional initiatives.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Completion of an accredited educational program for nurse practitioners and at least two years of current clinical experience in adult practice required.</li>
<li>Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with authorization by the Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in an expanded role.</li>
<li>Registered with the ANCC or other accrediting organization for Nurse Practitioners.</li>
<li>Registered with the State of Massachusetts and DEA for prescription writing privileges.</li>
<li>Prior experience in Occupational and Employee Health. (Preferred)</li>
