The part-time high school advisor is an instrumental member of the Academy team. The advisor provides highly individualized, small, and large group support to Academy members as they progress from 9th through 12th grade. Job Description Summary 
Lil Sunshine Child Care Center, Inc. (LSCCC) is a nonprofit child care center located in downtown Randolph. Our mission is to provide child-centered, quality care to children of families who live or work in Randolph, Braintree or Brookfield (the Orange Southwest School district). LSCCC is committed to providing high quality care to eight infants and 10 toddlers, in an environment that promotes all aspects of development, is evidence-based and includes an emphasis on outdoor experiences. 
 
A Substitute Teacher will have a great opportunity of working closely with teachers and the Program Director in a small classroom setting where they can help provide quality care. The ideal candidate is passionate about early child development, energetic, warm, and works in a collaborative manner.

<ul>
<li>Assist with the care of children in a safe setting, following health and safety guidelines outlined in the Vermont Child Care Regulations, while being nurturing and responsive</li>
<li>Apply recommendations from the Vermont Early Learning Standards in classroom interactions and activities</li>
<li>Communicate in a positive, collaborative manner with colleagues and parents</li>
<li>Assist with daily cleaning needs to meet Vermont Child Care Regulations (linked above) while being respectful of the property</li>
<li>Fulfill responsibilities of the regular role for which they are substituting, as assigned by Program Director</li>
</ul>
 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>Meets the Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations (section 7.3.2.6) qualifications for a “Substitute”:</li>
<li>Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age,</li>
<li>Must be a high school graduate or have completed a GED</li>
<li>Digital literacy, including use of computers, tablets, the internet</li>
</ul>
 Nice To Haves 
<ul>
<li>Prior experience in a teaching or substitute role for a childcare center</li>
<li>Experience using child care center management software (Brightwheel)</li>
</ul>
