<li>Proposal Development: Lead or assist with proposal development efforts, leveraging your expertise to create compelling proposals that resonate with clients.</li>
<li>Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical expertise to review reports, design drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates, and provide guidance on design options and code requirements.</li>
<li>Advocacy for Inclusion: Actively advocate for full inclusion in the workplace, fostering an environment that welcomes diversity and values equity for all employees, partners, clients, and communities.</li>
<li>Professional Development: Participate in professional/technical societies, present at industry conferences, and stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in bridge design and engineering.</li>

Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a 4-year accredited college or university.</li>
<li>10+ years of progressive experience in design and management of bridge projects for MassDOT.</li>
<li>Strong technical skills and ability to work well in a team environment.</li>
<li>PE license in at least one state, with the ability to obtain licenses in additional states as required.</li>
<li>Experience with engineering design packages such as AutoCAD.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Criteria:
<ul>
<li>Experience working with Massachusetts, Connecticut, and/or Rhode Island DOTs.</li>
<li>Strong relationships within MassDOT, MBTA, and various other local public agencies.</li>
