Curtain and Drapery Installer – Cape & Island Draperies

Location: Falmouth, MA

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Range $24-$28/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable hands-on curtain and drapery installer to measure, install, and service custom window treatments in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works independently, and provides excellent customer service while ensuring every installation is precise and secure.

Key Responsibilities

· Measure windows accurately for custom curtains, draperies, shades, and hardware

· Install rods, tracks, motorized systems, blinds, shades, and custom drapery

· Mount brackets, valances, cornices, and decorative hardware securely and level

· Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and measuring equipment

· Load, unload, and transport materials and tools

· Keep job sites clean and professional

· Work directly with homeowners, designers, and contractors

Qualifications

· Previous experience installing curtains, draperies, blinds, or window treatments preferred, but willing to train the right person

· Strong measuring and attention to detail

· Ability to read work orders, diagrams, and installation instructions

· Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights on ladders

· Basic carpentry experience a plus

· Experience repairing blinds and shades a plus

· Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Valid driver’s license, local travel required
