Construction Project Manager

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Our client is an established, family-owned contractor that has been in business for over 50 years. Based out of Boston, they have a great reputation and prides themselves on repeat business, transparent communication and a balanced field/project management staff.
 
Due to business growth, they seek an experienced Superintendent that will report directly to their Ownership group. Generating close to $60M in yearly revenue, they have a diverse portfolio including commercial, healthcare and retail projects.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation</li>
<li>Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors</li>
<li>Interface with project owners, inspectors, contractors, architects, and engineers</li>
<li>Negotiates revisions, changes, and additions with owners, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors for changes in scope of work</li>
<li>Ideal candidates should be able to manage a construction project to final completion; including, preconstruction services, constructability reviews, preparation of bid documents, estimating, budget implementation/analysis, subcontractor management, construction planning, and scheduling</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field, preferred</li>
<li>5+ years of GC experience, preferred</li>
<li>3+ years as a Superintendent, running projects, required</li>
<li>Familiarity with construction management software, Procore experience is a plus</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of submittals, RFI’s, and project close out procedures</li>
<li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Detail oriented with the ability to multi task</li>
</ul>
 
Compensation &amp; Benefit Information

<li>Salary between $120,000- $200,000, dependent on experience</li>

Lead Construction Superintendent

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Mantis Innovation provides managed facility services and turnkey program management with technology-enabled solutions that target the entire building footprint. We look at the entire facility—inside and out—and can impact 70% of what a building operator allocates critical budget dollars toward, including: Strategic electricity and natural gas procurement, renewable energy, and demand response; climate impact reduction and reporting, net zero strategies, and sustainability planning; roofing, solar, HVAC assessment management, pavement, building envelope, data center optimization, and EV charging; lighting/LED retrofits, HVAC/mechanical systems, and BMS/BAS improvements and implementation.
 
We deliver big mechanical projects for commercial and industrial clients. This role leads HVAC, boiler, chiller, and piping upgrades from start to finish. You run the field work, the schedule, and the client communication. You keep the job moving, the team aligned, and the work documented.
This is a senior role. You'll handle large, complex Boston-area projects. You must be able to manage field crews, read drawings, solve problems fast, and track every detail.
 
***This is a Hybrid job opportunity; you will work T/W/Th in our Burlington, MA office when not at a client site. We work M &amp; F from home***
 
What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Lead mechanical construction projects from planning to closeout</li>
<li>Oversee HVAC, boiler, chiller, and piping retrofits</li>
<li>Run site safety, quality checks, and daily coordination</li>
<li>Build schedules, budgets, and project plans.</li>
<li>Manage contractors, vendors, and internal teams.</li>
<li>Drive documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, closeout.</li>
<li>Serve as the main client contact</li>
<li>Handle financial tracking and forecasting</li>
<li>Travel to Boston-area sites as needed</li>
</ul>
 
What You Bring
<ul>
<li>5-10 years of mechanical construction or mechanical PM work</li>
<li>Strong HVAC, boiler, and chiller knowledge</li>
<li>Ability to manage field teams and busy job sites</li>
<li>Strong schedule and budget control</li>
<li>Solid documentation skills (Procore a plus)</li>
<li>Able to read plans and mechanical drawings</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree required (Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related)</li>
</ul>
 
Nice to Have
<ul>
<li>Mechanical Engineer degree</li>
<li>PMP, LEED, or similar certifications</li>
<li>Experience with public-sector mechanical work</li>
<li>Work on hospitals, industrial plants, or data centers</li>
</ul>
 
Salary: $125,000 - $165,000 a year
