As a Flagger, you will control vehicle traffic by notifying drivers of reduced speeds or lane restrictions at roadways, parking lots, or construction sites. No experience? No problem! PeopleReady provides full flagger training and certification.

Pay Rate: $17–$21/hr
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Establish safe movement of traffic around work zones with your team
- Flag motorists to warn of obstacles or repair work ahead
- Take ownership of your work zone and guide vehicles safely
- Place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices (duties vary by assignment)
- Respond to emergencies as directed, prioritizing public safety and property protection
Shifts: All available
Requirements:
- Must be 18+
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills – stay in constant contact with the crew
- Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods
- Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed if using your own vehicle)
- Flagger Certification Required – training provided by PeopleReady
