Pharmacy Technician Evening Shift (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Foxborough, MA
Assignment Type: 13+ Week Contract-to-Hire
Pharmacy Setting: Closed-Door, Long-Term Care

A respected long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is actively hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for an evening shift role. This position starts as a contract with strong potential for permanent hire after 13 weeks. Candidates must be organized, accurate, and ready to work in a high-volume environment.

Position Overview:

• Closed-door LTC facility

• Approx. 600 prescriptions filled daily

• Uses Frameworks software (training provided if needed)

• Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Package prescriptions (unit dose and blister cards) for scheduled deliveries

• Handle receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory

• Monitor medication expiration dates and ensure proper storage

• Maintain accurate medication and patient records

Schedule Options:

• MondayFriday: 2:00 PM10:00 PM or 4:00 PM12:00 AM

• Saturday/Sunday: 9:00 AM7:00 PM (1 weekend per month required)

• Open to candidates seeking alternate shift arrangements

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license

• National PTCB certification required

• Previous pharmacy experience required (LTC or retail preferred)

• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

Compensation:

• $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience
