Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent inpatient experience and a doctorate degree.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Inpatient hospital setting working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Monday through Friday schedule with every other Saturday required, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm shifts
- Rotating holiday coverage is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Use of rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
- Use of Meditech Expanse EMR is strongly preferred
- Traveler must provide their own vehicle
- Responsible for direct patient care and collaboration in developing comprehensive care plans
- Engage collaboratively with other team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Eight hours of orientation prior to starting clinical duties
- Dress code and holiday/rotation expectations apply
- Shift accommodation requests for block or non-standard shifts will not be considered
- Up to 5 days of requested time off may be submitted for consideration
- Not open to candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Supervisory references within the past two years are required

- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Active Massachusetts physical therapy license required if applicable
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
