Job Description

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts, starting Jan 5, 2026. This flexible opportunity offers 4- or 5-day work weeks, day shifts (8a-5p), and equal sharing of inpatient consultation and call duties. The role involves treating both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, with a strong mix of oncology and hematology cases. Epic EMR proficiency is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Share inpatient consultation service and night/weekend call equally with other oncologists
  • Provide care for both solid tumor and hematologic malignancy patients, including:
  • Breast cancer
  • Lung cancer (including non-small cell)
  • Colon and rectal (GI) cancers
  • Prostate cancer
  • Leukemia
  • Lymphoma
  • Multiple myeloma
  • Manage benign hematology conditions such as anemia and clotting disorders
  • Collaborate with hospitalists who admit patients
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination


Additional Information

  • Licensure in Massachusetts required
  • Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
