Experienced Real Estate Paralegal
Melrose, MA | Full-Time | Hybrid/Flexible Schedule Considered
The Martino Law Group, LLC is a busy, multi-location (Melrose, Newburyport, and Lexington) general practice law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with 3+ years of hands-on residential conveyancing experience, from Purchase & Sale through post-closing.
About the Role
You will play a central role in managing residential real estate transactions while working closely with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and clients. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced practice with established systems and procedures.
Compensation:
$55,000+
Responsibilities:
- Manage residential real estate closings from Purchase & Sale through post-closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and municipal offices to facilitate smooth transactions
- Order, review, and analyze title; address routine title issues; and track mortgage discharges
- Prepare and manage closing documents using Qualia, eClose, and other real estate closing software
- Assist attorneys with conveyancing-related administrative and transactional tasks as needed
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files in accordance with firm procedures
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of Massachusetts residential real estate conveyancing experience required
- Strong proficiency with web-based real estate platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Qualia, eClose, or similar closing software strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Experience with or exposure to commercial real estate transactions is desirable but not required
