Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in North Adams, MA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for an experienced SLP with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and specialized experience or certification in school-based speech therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and data related to student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure and CCC required
- Proven experience working with school-aged children
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy requirements and regulations
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and educational staff
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records
