Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Job DescriptionSalary:
The Electro-mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling electronics according to product specifications. The successful candidate will follow blueprints to put together electronic devices, tools, and products using hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assembles, tests, and repairs precision electro-mechanical parts, assemblies, and equipment
- Examines parts for surface defects
- Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts into completed units, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates
- Solders and bolts electrical and electronic components in specified location on assembly
- Repairs, reworks, and assembles to meet operational tolerances
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Conducts basic electronic tests as needed
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures
Requirements:
- 1-3 years' experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and have excellent follow-up and multitasking skills.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Must be a highly motivated team player with an ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Must be proficient with computers, including a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
