Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 educational setting in Derry, NH seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services for students in grades 6-12. This contract position begins on August 21st and offers a 30-35 hour workweek throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include conducting individualized speech and language assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and tracking progress for approximately 25 students. The caseload features a diverse range of communication needs, from articulation challenges to cognitive impairments requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support. This role operates entirely onsite, supporting students directly within the school environment. Note that Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not part of this position.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (state licensure required)
- Experience working with K-12 students across a range of speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies
- Ability to manage a mid-sized caseload effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
- Commitment to onsite service delivery
