Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Overview:
A highly respected nonprofit organization is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their multidisciplinary team in Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to support students ages 6–22 with autism spectrum disorders and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with complex developmental and behavioral needs
- Conduct assessments and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies
- Support feeding and swallowing needs, including dysphagia management
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, behavior analysts, OTs, PTs, and other professionals
- Participate in the development and documentation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Contribute to ongoing treatment planning, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Current Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or training in AAC and manual communication
- Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Dysphagia management experience preferred
