- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360 - $2420\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

- Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional license accepted)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience (Level III or IV)\n
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification\n
- BLS certification\n
- Experience with EPIC charting system\n
- Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred\n
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)\n
- Must pass Tele exam during orientation (80% passing score)\n
\n\nNICU Nurse Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to neonates and infants with complex medical needs\n
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records\n
- Administer medications, blood products, and perform advanced NICU procedures (arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, therapeutic hypothermia, surfactant administration)\n
- Support breastfeeding and family education\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services\n
- Participate in pre- and post-operative care for surgical neonates (gastroschisis, omphalocele, g-tube placement)\n
- Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions\n
- Provide compassionate support to families during critical and challenging situations\n
