• Healthcare Setting: Level III/IV NICU – 49 beds, daily census of 40\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse Contract\n
• Start Date: December 2, 2025\n
• End Date: March 3, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Nursing Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Orientation: 48 hours\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360 - $2420\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional license accepted)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience (Level III or IV)\n
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification\n
• BLS certification\n
• Experience with EPIC charting system\n
• Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)\n
• Must pass Tele exam during orientation (80% passing score)\n

\n\nNICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to neonates and infants with complex medical needs\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records\n
• Administer medications, blood products, and perform advanced NICU procedures (arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, therapeutic hypothermia, surfactant administration)\n
• Support breastfeeding and family education\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services\n
• Participate in pre- and post-operative care for surgical neonates (gastroschisis, omphalocele, g-tube placement)\n
• Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions\n
• Provide compassionate support to families during critical and challenging situations\n
