Position Details

Job Summary

Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, following established protocols and policies.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, manage complex treatments, and utilize critical care equipment effectively.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs, changes in condition, and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the hospital’s EMR system (Cerner experience preferred).
  • Support team goals and assist with cross-unit assignments when required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience required.
  • License: Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact State RN license (required at submission).
  • Certifications: BLS & ACLS (required).
  • References: 2 recent RN references (Charge or Manager level) within the specialty.
  • Documentation:
    • Updated resume with complete work history and travel experience.
    • Completed Skills Checklist (PCU/Stepdown specialty).
    • NURSYS license verification report.
    • RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at submission.
  • EMR Experience: Cerner preferred, not required.
  • Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract period.
