Role Summary:
This assignment is located in Sandwich, MA, and requires a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for an Acute Rehabilitation setting. The RN is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, providing complex clinical decision-making, and assuring nursing care is delivered safely and competently to groups of rehabilitation patients. This role is central to the patient's recovery journey, requiring excellent collaboration and detailed record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
The Acute Rehab RN is expected to perform the following duties:
- Provide individualized nursing care based on continuous patient assessment and clinical reasoning.
- Administer medications and meticulously monitor patients for any reactions or side effects.
- Record and maintain accurate, detailed reports, medical information, and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and promptly report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate team members.
- Consult and coordinate closely with all members of the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by the patients' responses and changing clinical conditions.
Qualifications
- License: Active Massachusetts (MA) RN License is required.
- Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
