\nAssignment for 16-32 weeks • Distance is measured by a straight line, not driving distance Med-Surg: Acute M/S Tele RN. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, telemetry strip interpretation all done by bedside. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day. Requirements: • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS are required - NIHSS prior to starting; Telemetry certification is preferred • 5 years’ of med surg tele experience OR 3 years of tele experience is required • Prior travel is required • Must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300+ bed facilities OR have previous experience at any UVMHN acute care facility • EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable Additional Information: • IVS to OFFER • Monday to Sunday • No block schedules for any reason • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 10/27 • Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained • This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: • Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended • Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April. \n\nTotal Hourly Pay Rate:\t $68.52 \t Per Hour \nOn W2(Taxable): \t $18.00 \t Per Hour \nStipend(Non-Taxable):\t $50.52 \t Per Hour \n\t\t\n\t\t\nWeekly Breakdown:\t\t\nWeekly Gross:\t $2,466.60 \t Per Week \nOn W2(Taxable): \t $648.00 \t Per Week \nStipend(Non-Taxable):\t $1,818.60 \t Per Week \n
