Job DescriptionDescription:

Sinclair Manufacturing (a QNNECT Company) is looking for a talented Process & Design Engineer who will design conceptual, prototype and production components to meet our defense and aerospace customer requirements. You will also work with a team from other departments in identifying risk areas and potential design issues as well as potential solutions. You will also identify and create bills of materials and process engineering change request as well as, assist in establishing test plans and sales quotes.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Solid works proficiency.
  • Documentation control.
  • Customer correspondence.
  • Print reading/ Geometric tolerance.
  • Part fixturing.

Become familiar with Sinclair’s QMS requirements as they relate to the engineering dept.

Education and/or Experience: Degreed mechanical or material engineer or equivalent experience with strong analytical, problem solving, mathematical and communication skills. Solid works training or equivalent.

Language Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with advanced mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and listen. The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs. Employee must be able to sit for prolonged period of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close visions, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
