Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position with a focus on electrophysiology, requiring 2+ years of recent EP experience and a MA RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab specializing in electrophysiology procedures
- Handle patient cases involving devices, EP studies, ablations, and PVI
- Level 1 Trauma hospital environment
- Responsible for conducting advanced EP procedures including device management, studies, ablations, and PVIs
- Must pass an internal advanced dysrhythmia test prior to starting assignment
- Supportive team structure within a high-acuity trauma environment
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except for specific units
- Parking fees may apply and information on onsite parking is available upon request
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years recent electrophysiology experience, including work with devices, EP studies, ablations, and PVI
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting required
- Must be able to independently read telemetry strips and achieve at least 85% on a tele exam on day 1
- Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B); test can only be taken twice
- At least 18 months of specialty experience required
- Two professional references on file, one at manager level or above, with one evaluation within the last 12 months and the other within three years; references from other travelers not accepted
