Engineering Manager – Metals

Our global manufacturing client is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the team at their fast-paced facility in Bristol, NH. Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager – Metals

  • Contribute to the development of financial and technological goals by participating in planning processes
  • Apply technical expertise to develop existing and introduce new processes; identify and develop process innovations to support the site's vision and long-term direction
  • Design and execute plans while leveraging the latest approaches and achieving organizational short-, mid-, and long-term goals; regularly review performance and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure manufacturing capabilities, product and material application, and tool design standards are considered with respect to the implementation process
  • Coordinate and monitor compliance with all legal and internal HSE requirements
  • Develop employees, drive talent acquisition and management processes, and foster a proactive and collaborative work culture
  • Envision the impact of potential future trends and proactively drive necessary changes, while encouraging creativity and initiative from employees

Qualifications of the Engineering Manager – Metals

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering roles within the metals manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory position
  • Strong understanding of metallurgical processes, materials science, and manufacturing techniques
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate self and others while taking full accountability for actions and results
