We are seeking a reliable, organized, and energetic individual to join our team as a Temporary Receptionist to cover a maternity leave. This position is expected to last approximately 8–10 weeks starting in late January.

As the "face" and "voice" of our company during this period, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. We are looking for someone who can jump in with a positive attitude, manage administrative workflows, and ensure our customers feel valued and respected in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls. Answer the phone with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor. Direct calls to the appropriate team members and ensure every customer is treated with the utmost respect and a positive attitude.
• Order Entry: Accurately take and process customer orders received via phone and internet. Enter order details into our internal system promptly and without errors.
• Billing & Invoicing: Process customer payments for orders and generate accurate invoices in a timely manner.
• Logistics & Shipping: Assist with the shipping process by generating freight quotes for customers, creating Bills of Lading (BOLs), and scheduling pickups with freight vendors.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role.
• Exceptional communication skills: You must be a "people person" with a friendly phone manner.
• Strong computer literacy and data entry skills (experience with order entry software is a plus).
• Attention to detail, particularly regarding payment processing and shipping documentation.
• Ability to work independently and commit to the full 8–10 week duration.
