We are looking for an experienced Remote iOS Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications that support our clinical services and patient engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, a passion for clean and intuitive user interfaces, and experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare.

This is a fully remote role. Applicants must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizenship or valid work permit is required). Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and SwiftUI.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Translate wireframes, mockups, and user stories into functional, high-performance mobile experiences.

Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services, including EHR/EMR platforms and healthcare APIs.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across multiple iOS devices and versions.

Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data regulations.

Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and participate in agile development practices.

Monitor app performance using analytics and crash reporting tools, and iterate based on user feedback.

Stay up to date with Apples mobile development ecosystem, SDKs, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. work authorization (Green Card or other valid permit).

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.

Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI; familiarity with Objective-C is a plus.

Solid understanding of mobile design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).

Experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON data.

Knowledge of Apples Human Interface Guidelines and accessibility standards.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Experience publishing apps to the App Store and managing provisioning profiles and certificates.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries.

Understanding of HIPAA compliance and secure data handling in mobile apps.

Experience with HealthKit, CareKit, or FHIR-based APIs.

Familiarity with cloud backend solutions (Firebase, AWS Amplify, etc.).

Exposure to cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter is a plus but not required.

Contributions to open-source projects or personal app portfolio on GitHub or the App Store.
