Adecco is partnering with a manufacturing facility in Billerica, MA to bring on a CMM Quality Control Professional 1st shift. This is a direct hire position!

Position: CMM Quality Inspector
Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm Monday – Friday
Pay: $25 – $33 an hour Depending on Experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating, setting up, and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to ensure the highest level of quality in manufactured components. This role involves performing inspections, troubleshooting quality issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and program CMM equipment to inspect precision-manufactured parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to verify part specifications.
  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges to verify measurements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and generate detailed quality reports.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of inspection programs and processes.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and industry quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in CMM operation, setup, and programming.
  • Proficiency with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience using standard inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Knowledge of ISO and/or FDA quality standards is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
