Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring RDMS certification and recent experience, serving a diverse island community setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Imaging department at a community hospital on an island location
- Friday through Monday schedule with 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call shifts required: Friday 8:30 PM-7:00 AM and Saturday 5:30 PM-7:00 AM
- Patient population includes year-round residents and seasonal visitors
- Uses Epic charting system
- Shared housing provided at no cost
- Responsibilities include performing ultrasound imaging studies as scheduled and on-call
- Candidates must be able to work independently in a hospital imaging environment
- Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
- Two professional references required
- Scrubs or professional attire in accordance with hospital policy

- Current RDMS certification by ARDMS required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- At least 1 year of recent ultrasound experience required
- Active MA professional license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted. License required if applicable
- Must provide documentation of certifications
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
