Position Summary:
The Clinical Therapist is a licensed clinician who will provide multiple aspects of support and guidance to teams and non-clinical support personnel. The Clinical Therapist will actively maintain licensure and will utilize established, evidence-based practices to promote opportunities for growth, healing and wellness for identified clients through individual therapy, skills groups, and specialized evaluations. The focus of the Clinical Therapist is on treatment and various assessment services, and other duties as assigned by the Director.
Pay:$33-$37/hr.
Part time: 20-25 hours a week
Essential Responsibilities:
· Provide coverage for direct individual counseling and therapy to clients of the area agency system
· Facilitate and implement evidenced-based skills groups or therapeutic groups when assigned
· Provide specialized assessments including service evaluations
· Maintain all treatment and group notes and billing documentation as required by current standards of practice and The Moore Center’s policies.
· Review, understand, and abide by Departmental Procedures and Policies relative to timelines for documentation and billing.
· Perform with high ethical standards congruent with American Counseling Association, Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers and other reputable professional organizations such as National Association for Social Workers or comparable codes of ethics
· Participate in regular clinical supervision with Licensed Clinicians and seek out supervision as needed when indicated by unique and/or complex issues presented by clients and/or their teams
· Ensure required CEU’s for continued licensure are obtained, within timeline and standards of NH Board of Mental Health.
· Participate in fiscal goals of P025, including minimum billable hours defined by the Director in the employee’s SAF
· Work collaboratively with other clinicians, team members, agencies with high level of professionalism
· Teamwork, regular attendance on-site, and face-to-face interaction (as needed) are essential job functions
· Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Clinical Director
· Review, understand, and adhere to the Department’s specific Procedures, Standards, and Policies
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field, with a license to practice, i.e. LCMHC, LICSW, etc.
· Demonstrated knowledge in field of clinical counseling, developmental disabilities, specialized assessments
· Previous experience working as a member of clinical teams in mental health field
· Experience in Illness Management Recovery Model and Risk Needs Responsivity model preferred
· Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours
· $100,000/300,000 Automobile Liability Insurance
Skills and Abilities
· Demonstrate a commitment to The Moore Center’s values and ethics of psychological services
· Comply with all state, agency and department policies and procedures
· Competency in therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, dialectical behavior therapy, and other evidence-based approaches; ability to adapt evidence-based modalities to the unique needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities
· Ability to complete written treatment notes, treatment plans with diagnoses, and billing documentation as required by current standards of practice and The Moore Center’s policies
· Ability to develop clinical treatment groups according to best practice, identify goals, methodology and measure outcomes.
· Ability to represent Moore Center Services, Inc. as a competent, trained clinical professional
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to provide clinical leadership to teams as needed/requested
· Demonstrate a strong emphasis on customer service skills, to our clients, staff and outside professionals
· Ability to identify and/or develop community resources; refer clients and their teams to those resources
· Competency in detailed record reviews, needs assessments, treatment planning,
· Ability to identify training needs of staff and support them to enhance their clinical skills and documentation
· Demonstrate creative, innovative thinking and problem solving
· Interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to master new software

All staff must adhere to the NH state law requiring mandated reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Additionally, staff are required to maintain criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services record checks that meet agency standards. Staff are also required to travel and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and maintaining personal auto insurance of $100,000/300,000.
