Job DescriptionSalary: $21.13-$29.89
Essential Functions:
- Possesses working knowledge of hand tools and machinery;
- Possesses working knowledge of Finishing Departments operations;
- Performs set-ups for testing equipment/stations,
- Performs set-ups of silk screening, pad printing, heat staking, milling, sonic welding, press brake, rivet machines, and laser etching;
- Performs scheduled cleaning of the deionizer washer, ESD mats and ionizers;
- Verifies calibrated torque on guns according to work instructions;
- Performs initial start ups of job for samples and production;
- Assists with initial first piece preparation and inspections;
- Performs Installation Qualifications (IQ)
- Maintains machinery and/or tooling to maximize efficiency and quality of production;
- Troubleshoots parts, assemblies, equipment and machinery for production;
- Optimizes processes to achieve product quality, production efficiency and process repeatability;
- Initiate problem reports NPMRs, and NMRs;
- Participates and drives cost reduction initiatives;
- See, reads, and follows ISO procedures and completes departmental daily set-ups and logs;
- Maintains a safe, clean, and professional working environment;
- Fosters a cooperative, productive, and team oriented environment;
- Follows and adheres to lock out/tag out program;
- Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignment, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills;
- Meets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodations;
- Complies with all company policies and procedures;
- Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered;
- Other duties as assigned.
Pre-Requisites/Minimum Qualifications:
Previous finishing experience preferred; Certificate from a college or technical school desired; ability to troubleshoot equipment; ability to analyze, quickly identify, and efficiently correct equipment problems; ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
