Well-established law firm in Stoneham, Massachusetts focusing in the areas of estate planning, special needs and disability planning, probate and trust administration, elder law, guardianship/conservatorships and professional fiduciary services is looking to expand our team with a talented full-time in-office paralegal who will be integral in providing excellent legal support to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal and administrative support to the attorneys

Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.

Conduct legal research on estate planning, probate, and trust administration issues.

Assist with the probate and trust administration process, including asset identification and distribution, tax filings, and accountings.

High level of communication with clients, courts, and other professionals in a professional and confidential manner.

Prepare and file court documents related to estate administration, probate matters, and guardianships/conservatorships.

Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

Paralegal certification, equivalent formal education in legal studies or at least three years experience as a paralegal in the practice areas referenced above.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with computer skills, general office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
