Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, anticipating needs, and maintaining sterile fields
- Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of all surgical activities and patient care details
Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in Operating Room nursing
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and perioperative care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Schedule/Hours
- Contract position with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly, excluding any on-call time worked
