Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Worcester, MA
Pay Rate: $74.87 per hour
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Training schedule: 8-hour days, 4–5 days/week for approximately 3 weeks
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide evidence-based primary and family care within a collaborative clinical environment. The NP will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role operates independently while also working closely with a supportive clinical care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This position reports to the Practice Manager.
This role requires working every other weekend and participation in holiday rotations.
A current BLS certification is required. DEA registration may be required upon offer acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary and family-focused evidence-based care to a diverse patient panel, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health concerns.
- Provide health counseling, preventive care, chronic condition management, and wellness services.
- Perform administrative responsibilities such as clinic opening/closing, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
- Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care plans.
- Promote patient engagement and self-management through education and health screenings.
- Work autonomously while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the clinical care team.
- Utilize electronic health systems and clinical technology efficiently.
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling and demonstrate adaptability to changing clinical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification and active state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and clinical autonomy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote-collaborative clinical team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and healthcare technology systems.
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with professional colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
