Job DescriptionMechanical Inspector - 1st Shift
The Mechanical Inspector position is available in Taunton, MA. This role is crucial for ensuring product quality in a company known for its rapid growth and excellent partnerships.
Shift of the Mechanical Inspector:
1st shift - 7a-3:30p
Pay Rate of the Mechanical Inspector:
$20-25/Hr
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Inspector:
- Perform complete layout inspections using precision instruments to ensure products meet specifications.
- Measure dimensions such as angles and radii using various aids and precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct verification on Incoming, In-Process, and Outgoing products.
- Visually compare work pieces to detect manufacturing variations.
- Assist and train operators on measurement and process procedures as required.
Qualifications of the Mechanical Inspector:
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of Math, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Flexibility based on plant production schedules.
- A minimum of one year of experience using computer and measuring instruments.
