We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong experience in rigid instrument and scope handling to join our Operating Room team who supports complex surgical procedures including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, urology, robotics, and live donor liver transplant cases.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all rigid instruments and scopes are sterilized and ready for use
- Assist surgical teams during procedures by anticipating instrument needs
- Maintain aseptic technique and follow hospital safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure smooth surgical flow
- Participate in call rotations as assigned (3 shifts/month and up to one weekend/month)
Requirements
- Certification: NBSTSA (CST) and BLS (AHA) required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
