Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 school located in Portsmouth, NH, to provide specialized support from ASAP through the end of the school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with diverse student populations, including high school life skills and elementary students.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language services to a caseload of students across high school life skills and elementary levels.
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy to support student communication needs.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Eligibility or possession of state licensure for school-based SLP services.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings, preferably K-12.
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders typical to pediatric and school-age populations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
