Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Boston, MA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position for the upcoming school year. This role offers an opportunity to support students across grade levels in developing critical communication skills to enhance their academic success and social interactions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs among students
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique goals
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress and provide guidance on communication strategies
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of inclusive educational plans

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP license and certification
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, intervention strategies, and assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
