Certified Pharmacy Technician Evening Shift Opportunity
Location: Foxborough, Massachusetts
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire (13+ weeks)
Facility: Closed-Door Long-Term Care Pharmacy

A well-established long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is seeking a certified pharmacy technician to join their team for the evening shift. This role offers a 13+ week contract with strong potential for permanent placement. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.

Role Highlights:

• Facility Type: Closed-door LTC pharmacy

• Software Platform: Frameworks (training available)

• Prescription Volume: Approximately 600 prescriptions daily

• Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare medications using unit-dose and blister packaging for patient delivery

• Assist in medication ordering, receiving, and inventory management, including expiration date checks

• Maintain precise and up-to-date patient and medication records

• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM OR 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

• Weekend Coverage: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM 7:00 PM (one weekend per month required)

• Flexibility to discuss other shift options if preferred

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

• National PTCB certification required

• Prior pharmacy experience preferred, especially in high-volume settings

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

• Pay range: $21 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications
